As someone who's played Minecraft since Alpha 1.2 (that was 2.5 years ago lol), I for one never get tired of seeing people discover things in this game for the first time, haha. Add in the fact that it's Sabrina and it doesn't get much better than that. :)

the author way to make torchs is char coal witch comes from trees not plank DONT MAKE PLANKS you have to put your wood in the furnace

Instead of digging so much to find it you can just put a wood log in the furnace and put a wooden plank on the bottom to power it and you will get charcoal and charcoal is the same as coal
and no you cant make glass out of sugar canes you can make glass out of sand by putting it in the furnace
