I updated to version 1.11 which came out yesterday and explored some of the new changes. One of which was finding a woodland mansion using the new /locate command and seeing the new illager mobs (vindicator, evoker & vex) and of course being the noob that I am, I died right away! I was in full diamond armore and still a vindicator killed me very easily. Those illagers are powerful!

You landed on the roof Sabrina. Those woodland mansions are multi story buildings with a big entrance. There are also giant statues of Chickens and Cats and illiger faces etc. that can be found inside it.
The ocean monument has been in the game since 1.8, but are not easy to find as it is hidden under water. The addition of the cartographer villagers that sell the maps make them easier to find. There is a room totally full of empty chests that can be found inside a woodland mansion.

you should go in creative, tp to the mansion, kill all of the ilagers, set your spawn point, and live in there!

By the way, it is possible to defeat a woodland mansion with diamond armor, normal golden apples, food, a shield, and a normal sword on hard. Just bring extra food and a extra shield as the vindicators disable the shields.
